Hello. Please meet these cookies. I’m sure you will become great friends. They have ground up Oreos inside, these cookies do. A whole packet of Oreos. Ground up.
I really love Oreos in my cookies. I totally loved these Oreo chocolate chunk cookies and I loved these cookies and cream cookies even more. YUM.
Oreos + cookies = double cookie awesomeness.
So when I saw this recipe on Picky Palate, for double chocolate chip cookies with Oreo crumbs inside, I just new I had to try them. Like, right away.
And these cookies were a hit – they are pretty ultimate when it comes to double chocolate chip. I ate one and then another and another and another. It makes the biggest batch, and I gave some away and still ate them for days. They were my breakfast, these cookies.
Cookies for breakfast with milk makes for happy days.
And they were still fantastically chewy days after they were baked. Rich and chewy, with crisp edges. Like I said, ultimate chocolatey cookies.
